As a member, you will have access to a growing soil library of recorded conversations and additional articles, videos, and other resources. With each Soil Session, ongoing conversations among members, and additional research, we will create an exciting and practical reference material on soil health for our members.

Beyond engaging with leading figures of the soil health movement, Soil brings together a new community. Through the Soil online platform, members can continue the conversation with one another, on everything from technical topics to big ideas on food systems and more.

From the Land Gardeners
Origins
In late 2022, The Land Gardeners, with the help of Nicole Masters and Karen Spencer, organised a conference on soil health at Althorp Estate that brought together over 150 farmers from across the UK and researchers, journalists, and others from further afield.
Beyond the thrilling discussion on altering farming and food systems paradigms, soil microbiology, fungi, and food waste, we all learned that we wanted and needed to keep our conversations ongoing.
S O I L, from the Land Gardeners, was created to maintain and curate those ongoing conversations on soil.
